Today was a big day for Kay! We visited the pumpkin patch on her first ever school field trip. It’s not often that we get to spend time like this, just the two of us, so this was a pretty special occasion.
We visited a local farm, Aldor Acres, which boasts racing pigs, geese, chickens, rabbits, cows, and a large group of friendly goats. Kay and the rest of her preschool class couldn’t get enough of petting the animals and following the very patient goats around their pen.
Can’t forget about petting the bunnies! The smile on this little girl’s face when she got to snuggle with a fluffy baby bunny was priceless.
In past visits with her big sister, it seems like it was always raining and muddy on pumpkin patch day (this is Raincouver after all), but it was a beautiful morning today – perfect for tramping through a field hunting for the perfect pumpkin.
And here it is! Ta-da!
Looks like you all had a great time!
First of all, what a cutie patootie! Sweet little lady. 🙂 And how fun to go on the school trip. I recall the JK/SK one to the firehall, but never a pumpkin patch. That would be a fun!
Well you all must have had a blast at the Pumpkin patch, and those little furry animals.Beautiful photos.
