Mickey’s Monster Musical Out on Disney DVD September 8

My kids are already counting down the days to Halloween! They haven’t made a final decision yet, but they love talking about all the costumes they might wear. At this rate, I might have a Vampire Darth Elsa on my hands! Helping all of us to get into the spooky spirit, we received an advance copy of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey’s Monster Musical for review.

MMCH Mickey's Monster Musical DVD

Put on your favorite Halloween costume and get set for a spooktacular full-length adventure. Visit the creaky castle of kindly “Count Mickula” and help your Clubhouse pals solve a puzzling riddle: Who, or what, is making a curious clanging, banging noise? With the right Monster Mouseketools and help from YOU, this mystery will soon be history! Then, enjoy two more exciting episodes as you search for pirate treasure with Captain Mickey and don your dungarees for delightful fun down on the farm. Packed with singing, dancing, laughter and surprises, Mickey’s Monster Musical is a high-spirited treat that can’t be beat.

The full-length feature starts with Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto stranded when their car runs out of gas. It soon starts to rain, so they seek shelter in a nearby castle. This classic plot device (Rocky Horror Picture Show, anyone?) leads to a fun, musical adventure starring the usual characters in disguise.

Anything Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is always a favourite with my girls, and this collection is no exception. They’ve already asked to watch the movie twice, and I like having a Halloween special that isn’t the least bit scary for even my three-year-old.

There’s a bonus Trick-or-Treat reusable mini tote tucked away inside the case too, and Kay claimed it right away to “practice” her trick or treating technique.

Mickey’s Monster Musical is arriving on Disney DVD just in time for Halloween on September 8. The DVD includes the following episodes:

  • Mickey’s Monster Musical (full-length feature)
  • Mickey’s Pirate Adventure
  • Mickey’s Farm Fun Fair
  • Bonus – Minnie’s Bow-Toons: Tricky Treats
